Samsung's 2020 flagships Galaxy S20 and S20+ are already up for the grab, available to be purchase from retail as well as the online stores, and while it's not a very long time since their debut, We have already started getting leaks to what you should expect from upcoming 2021 Samsung flagships.
The latest leak has come on courtesy of famous tipster, Ice Universe, well known throughout the smartphone community for his trustful tips.
The leak suggests the usage of an under-display selfie camera in the upcoming Samsung flagships, which could mark the end of the ongoing notch era.
For those who don't know yet, the biggest problem with the implementation of an under-display selfie camera is the lack of light available for the sensor, which in turn produces low-quality sub-par images. Another problem with this implementation is to match the color and a pixel density of the cutout above the sensor with the rest of the screen.
We have already seen a working prototype of Oppo Smartphone with an under-display selfie camera sometimes before followed by Xiaomi and Huawei's separate patents, and I believe that if there's one company which is most capable of solving this hurdles and implementing this technology is none other than the South Korean tech giant Samsung.
A recent patent from Samsung has revealed an all-new 4 side curved display, which showed no sign of front camera too suggests that the company is aiming to implement the next generation under display selfie camera technology in its 2021 flagship.
