Now, you can make audio and video calls on X! To compete with Meta-owned Whatsapp, Elon Musk-owned company X Corp. has launched the facility to make audio and video calls on its platform X after a long wait. It is unclear whether this feature is available in India yet. Elon Musk wants to turn it into a super App where users get all kinds of facilities and features.

Although X has not yet announced the launch of an audio and video call facility officially, according to the report of The Verge, users got the notification "Audio and Video calls are here!". Apart from this, a new option, "Enable audio and video calling", is also visible in the app Settings.

One can start the feature of audio and video calls from app Settings. You will get the option of an Audio-Video Call in the Direct Message (DM). According to the report, you can enjoy audio-video calls with verified users, who are available in the address book. X CEO Linda Yaccarino said last month that X would start a video-calling facility soon. She reported that you could make video chat calls without giving your phone number to anyone on the platform.
