Samsung has unveiled two new most-awaited smartphones in the A Series globally. The duo shares the design of galaxy 23. These 5G-enabled smartphones sport an Android 13 operating system. Both smartphones come in four colour options.
Prices and Availability
The company has launched both phones in two storage variants. For Samsung Galaxy A34, the price of its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is EUR 349 (about Rs 30,800). The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model get a price of EUR 399 (about Rs 35,000). Whereas the Galaxy A54 starts at EUR 449 (about Rs 45,000).
Both phones will be available from later March on different platforms.
Samsung A34 5G Specifications
Performance- This handset has an octa-core processor featuring two cores at 2.6 GHz Cortex-A78 and six at 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55. This Single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Hybrid dual-SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) smartphone features the MediaTek MT6877V Dimensity 1080 processor that runs Android 13 with One UI 5.1. The chipset comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM and a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.
Display and Design- The phone features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display and a screen resolution of 1080 X 2340 pixels with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone measures 161.3 X 78.1 X 8.2 mm in dimensions and weighs 199 gm.
The phone is built with a glass front, plastic frame and plastic back. The phone gets an IP67 rating for water-proof and dust-proof. The phone has four colour options- Silver, Lime, Graphite and Violet.
Camera- As far as the cameras are concerned, there is a triple-camera setup in its back. One of the three modules is a 48 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and then joins an 8 MP ultrawide with f/2.2 and a 5 MP macro with f/2.4. The rear camera features an LED flash, panorama, and HDR.
It sports a single 13 MP f/2.2 wide front camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery- The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G fuels a non-removable battery of 5000 mAh. It supports fast charging of 25W.
Memory- The internal memory of the phone is 128 GB. Also, the phone has storage of up to 256GB. There is an extra microSDXC slot using a shared SIM slot to boost the memory.
Sensors- The phone is equipped with an under-display fingerprint sensor and the other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass.
