Oppo is paying a lot of attention to its Reno 4 series lately. Just a few days before, they have launched Oppo Reno 4 lite and Reno 4 SE, and today they have added another member to their popular Reno series - Reno 4Z 5G. But, Reno 4Z 5G isn't a new smartphone from Oppo's inventory. It's a rebranded Oppo A92s we have seen before. The looks, design, display, battery everything is identical, and there is absolutely nothing that separates Reno 4Z from Oppo A92, other than the fact that Reno 4Z will not come in a pink variant.
Anyways, Oppo Reno 4Z comes powered via powerful Octacore Mediatek Dimensity 800 Chipset, which supports 5G. As for memory configuration, You only get a single option, 8GB RAM paired with a UFS 2.1 128GB of internal storage. In comparison, A92s is currently selling in 3 memory configurations.
The front of the Reno 4Z comes dominated with a 6.57 inches FHD+ IPS LCD Display featuring a pill-shaped punch-hole cutout sporting a 16MPf/2.0 primary selfie cam paired with a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. And yes, the Reno 4Z display, just like A92s, comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, a point of a sale nowadays.
Around the back, there is a quad-camera setup composed of a 48MP f/1.7 primary shooter followed by an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle lens and a 2MP f/2.4 lens each for macros and depth sensing. Other highlights of the phone include a near-extinct 3.5 mm jack, HDR support, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. As for the battery, You get a 4000mAh of LiPo unit bundled with an 18W fast charger out of the box.
Currently available only in China, being offered in two color options - Black and White, and a single memory configuration - 8GB/128GB, Reno 4Z 5G price is yet not revealed. But keeping in mind the Oppo A92s price in Europe, it will go somewhere around 290 Euros.
Other markets will be getting the Oppo Reno 4Z 5G too, but there is no official word about an exact date yet.
