Oppo K10 5G will be available in India on June 8, the company said today. This will, of course, be the 5G version of the newly introduced K10 4G. Among other things, the phone will sport a fresh design and a "premium 5G chipset." Despite its large battery, Oppo promises the K10 5G will be the "slimmest 5G smartphone" in its market. The exact size and battery capacity are yet to be revealed.
The upcoming Oppo K10 5G is said to feature an Ultra-Slim design that is aesthetically pleasing. The device will feature Oppo's Glow made with glitter sand process. The Oppo K10 5G smartphone will have a sleek straight-edge design with ergonomic styling, reflective metal texture, and a fingerprint and scratch-resistant back, according to the company.
The phone has a 6.59-inch touchscreen display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1080x2412 pixels (FHD+) with a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch (ppi). The octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8000-Max chipset powers the Oppo K10 5G. It has 8GB and 12GB RAM.Oppo revealed before launch that the K10 5G would have its signature "glow" design with a fingerprint and scratch-resistant back and flat edges. It will work in tandem with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, which will be up for expansion by up to 5GB with the help of the dynamic RAM expansion feature. The internal storage on the K10 5G may be 128GB with UFS 2.2 standard.
In terms of cameras, the Oppo K10 5G has a triple camera configuration on the back, with a 64-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera, an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. Autofocus is available on the rear camera configuration. It sports a single front-facing camera with a 16-megapixel sensor and an f/2.05 aperture for selfies.
The OPPO K10 5G will include a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities. The gadget will ship with Android 12 OS and ColorOS 12.1.
