After a long wait, the South Korean company finally launched its flagship range of Galaxy S21 at its Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event. As was rumored, the company unveiled all three smartphones including, S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra. Along with these new flagships, it also revealed Galaxy Buds Pro and a tracking device named Galaxy SmartTag. The facility of pre-booking is now available for all three phones. And one will get a free tracking device and a Samsung E-Shop voucher up to Rs 10,000 on pre-booking. The sale of the series will start on 29 January. These flagships run on the latest Android 11 based on One UI 3.
Samsung S21 specifications and price:
Samsung Galaxy S21 is powered by octa-core Exynos 2100 SoC except in the US, where it is available with Snapdragon 888. The smartphone runs on Android 11 and comes with two storage options- 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage for the base variant and 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. The former is available for Rs 69,999, while the latter for Rs 73,999.
Samsung S21+ features:
This variant shares most of the features same as S21. It also runs on One UI based Android 11 and comes with the same chipset. As for the design, this phone is slightly bigger than the S21. The triple camera setup shares the same features. The smartphone cost Rs 81,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, while it is Rs 85,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant.
Samsung S21 Ultra Specifications:
Just like the above two models, this ultimate smartphone shares the same OS and chipset. However, it features an advanced display with Wacom's technology to support S Pen. As the name indicates, this ultra flagship is the top model and claims the best quad-camera of Android Phones. Explaining Ultra's specialty, TM Roh (President and Head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics), said in the event, "Galaxy S21 Ultra is another example of how Samsung is driving meaningful innovation forward to give people personalized experiences that enrich their lives and empower them to express who they are."
The phone comes with three storage options- 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The price starts at Rs 1,05,999 for the base 12GB + 128GB internal storage variant and Rs 1,16,999 for the top-end 16GB RAM + 512GB internal storage variant. It seems that the second storage variant is not available in India.
