Today, Samsung has announced the launch date of its Galaxy Note series, with the smartphone duo launch being set to August 5. And unlike last year's Galaxy unpack event held in New York, this event will go live online, available to be streamed live over news.samsung.com and www.samsung.com/global/galaxy starting 2 PM UST ( 7:30 PM IST ).
Samsung Galaxy unpack event won't just bring in Samsung Note Smartphones but an entire series of gadgets. Samsung didn't mention the name of devices, but it did say that the upcoming galaxy event will be about the latest ecosystem of Galaxy devices designed to empower your life.
Thanks to the recent leak, we now exactly know what kind of device we are looking at at this point. Samsung Note 20 Duo will come with a traditional glass sandwich design with front and back being carved out of glass, smoothly merging to the aluminum side frame.
Of course, the corners will be flat as compared to the Galaxy S series smartphones (Samsung S20 Series smartphones), the rugged trademark design that Samsung likes to keep in reserve for its more Note series.
The Note series will come packed with a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Chipset, or possibly Snapdragon 865+ chipset paired with at least 8GB of RAM in base variants. Upfront, there will be a Quad HD display, running at a 120Hz refresh rate featuring a solo punch hole located at the top center of the screen.
Around the back, there will be a triple camera setup whose configurations are still unknown, followed by the fourth periscope like sensor located adjacent to the triple camera setup likely to feature a 3D ToF sensor or laser autofocus.
Along with the Samsung Note 20 series, Samsung could also launch Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 5G in the Galaxy event, a successor to the Galaxy Fold. According to Sam mobiles, Galaxy Fold 2 is likely to debut with a larger 7.7 inches screen featuring a single punch hole like other Samsung flagships. Other specifications boosts will also be there, but there is no exact information to specify.
