Motorola has launched the budget 5G phone Moto G50, expanding the G series. A triple rear camera, high display refresh rate, waterdrop notch display, powerful processor, and a battery with fast charging support are the features of the Moto G50, and it could be the first phone with the Snapdragon 480 5G to launch in Europe.
Performance- This handset is powered by an octa-core processor, which features six cores at 1.8GHz, and two at 2.0GHz. The first smartphone to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G runs on Android 11. It configures 4GB RAM.
Display- There is a 6.5 inches touchscreen display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. This IPS LCD features a 90Hz refresh rate, and the resolution of the screen is 720 X 1600p.
Camera- As for the camera parts, Motorola G50 5G features a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture, a second 5MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and a third 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. It features a 13MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture that supports HDR.
Battery- Motorola G50 5G fuels with a Li-Po 5000mAh non-removable battery that supports 15W fast charging. The pack includes a 10W adapter.
Storage- The smartphone is available in two storage options- one with 4GB RAM 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM 128GB internal storage. There is a microSDXC card slot to expand memory that uses a shared SIM slot.
Design- The smartphone is available in beautiful Steel Grey and Aqua Green colors and supports a water-repellent design. Its dimension is 164.9 X 74.9 X 9.0 mm and weighs 192 grams. The body builds with a glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame.
Sensors- The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the rear panel of the phone. The other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, barometer, and gyroscope.
Price- Motorola G50 5G comes with a mid-range price of EUR 229.99 (approx. Rs 19,500) for its base variant 64GB 4GB RAM. The Moto G50 will be available in selected European markets in the coming weeks.
Motorola would also launch smartphones like Moto G100 and Moto G60 in the Moto G series in the coming time.
