In the following months, Samsung is likely to reveal the next generation of its Fold and Flip smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is likely to be released in August of this year.
So far, it has been rumoured that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 would have a similar look to its predecessor, but a little smaller and thinner, and will instead focus on durability. If this is the true, we may expect another book-style design with a triple back camera housing.
Galaxy Z Fold 4 expected price: $1,600 (speculation)
The exterior display is said to be 6.19-inches, with an interior display that expands to 7.56-inches. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will feature a 7.6-inch QXGA+ AMOLED display. Furthermore, it will have a 120Hz refresh rate support. The secondary screen, which will be the outer display, will be sized at 6.2 inches. It will be an AMOLED panel with HD+ resolution.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 12GB, 16GB RAM, and 256GB and 512GB storage options.
The device's optics will have a 50-megapixel main sensor on the back, as well as a 12-megapixel ultra-wide unit and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x magnification. According to Brar, the inner screen camera will be a 16-megapixel under-display device, while the front camera on the outside screen would be a 10-megapixel one.
The device is said to feature a 4,400mAh capacity battery with 25W fast charging and operates on Android 12-based One UI.
