Galaxy XCover Pro is updated to Android 11 based One UI 3.0

On 2 December 2020, Samsung has unveiled Android 11 based on One UI 3.0 update schedule. The first phone to get the stable update was Samsung Galaxy S20 series. The company had confirmed updates for several devices from the S, Note, Z and A-series. 

Now, Samsung has started releasing the Android 11 update to the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro. This smartphone was launched last year with Android 10. The device is now getting the Android 11 update based One UI 3.0 in various countries like Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the UAE, and the UK.

The latest firmware version comes with the G715FNXXU7BUA8 build number, and it brings along the January security patch. 

The new Android 11 update features:

  • One-time Permissions
  • Chat Bubbles
  • Easier Smart Device Controls
  • A Dedicated Media Player Widget
  • Conversations Section in the Notification Area
  • Permissions Auto Reset
  • Wireless Android Auto
