Motorola launched its flagship smartphone Motorola Edge+ in the USA last month. While the sale of Motorola Edge+ in the USA has started, just yesterday, via Verizon and Motorola website, the latest information gathered through the promotion page of India's biggest online retailer Flipkart has revealed that the device is going to make its debut in India on May 19.
Motorola Edge+ comes powered with a flagship Octacore Snapdragon 865 SoC with an updatable Adreno 650 GPU, paired with a 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS3.0 internal storage, running on Android 10 out from the start.
Moto Edge+ features a traditional glass sandwich design with both front and back being covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The display comes bent(curved) at the corners mimicking Waterfall Display and has minimal bezels counting to a screen to body ratio of 95.8%.
Upfront, Moto Edge+ has a 6.7 inches Full HD+ OLED panel casting a punch hole at the top left corner of the screen sporting a 25 MP selfie camera. The OLED panel built at an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 has a 90Hz refresh rate and supports HDR+ content.
The device packs 5000mAh of battery and comes bundled with an 18W fast charger. The battery also supports fast wireless charging and reverse charge tech.
Around the back, there is a triple-camera setup to be found composed of a 108MP f/1.8 wide-angle camera, which is the main highlight of the device along with a 16MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera and an 8 mp f/2.4 telephoto lens that supports 3X optical zoom.
There is no official information about the pricing of Moto Edge+ in India, but looking at the pricing of the device in the USA, which is $999, Motorola edge plus converts to INR 76,000.
But, You can expect a price tag of sub INR 65,000 accounting to the aggressive pricing strategy of Chinese OEM's in the country.
