Motorola has confirmed that it is going to launch its android flagship Motorola Edge+ at an E-vent ( virtual launching event like OnePlus did ) on April 22. But, ahead of E-vent, the information about the upcoming Moto Edge+ and its toned-down variant - Motorola Edge have already been leaked through Google Play Console, which left little to the imagination about the hardware inside upcoming Moto Edge phones.
Motorola Edge Plus will be the Moto's flagship Android smartphone that will debut with all the bleeding edge specs that one expects from a flagship-grade smartphone.
According to the listing of Google Play Console, the upcoming flagship from Motorola will be powered by a flagship Snapdragon 865 paired with a 12GB of RAM. It also confirms that Motorola Edge+ will come with a 1080p Full HD+ Display counting to the pixel density of 400ppi, and will unsurprisingly run Android 10 out of the box.
Moto Edge will be the vanilla version of the Motorola Flagship Edge+, which will compete in the upper mid-range segment of smartphones with its toned-down specifications and affordable price.
Motorola Edge will come with a more ergonomic Snapdragon 765 SoC paired with a 6GB of RAM. The Screen will be the same Full HD+ unit counting to the pixel density of 440ppi.
The biggest highlight of the upcoming Motorola Edge series will be the presence of waterfall Displays, For those who are unaware Waterfall Display is an extreme variant of the curved-screen you have seen on Samsung flagships which curves all the way to the point that the side bezels are no longer visible to human eyes.
There is no information about the pricing of these upcoming smartphones from Motorola yet. The only thing known at this point is that Edge+ will compete in the flagship segment, while vanilla Moto Edge will compete against smartphones in the middle range.
More information about the pricing and availability of these phones will be available on April 22, when Motorola will unveil these smartphones during its E-vent. So stay tuned with us and We'll get back to you soon.
