Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ Chipset is a gaming optimized SoC revealed by Mediatek last week. MediaTek later announced that the first phone to come with this SoC will be a Vivo smartphone, and now the name of the device has been confirmed along with its launch date.
Vivo iQOO Z1 will be the first smartphone in the world to feature Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ SoC whose launch is going to take place on May 19.
The latest leak has revealed what you should be expecting from the upcoming Vivo device. The leak suggests the presence of a 144Hz Display panel, which isn't surprising since the iQOO is a game-centric series, But the display is likely to be an LCD panel and not AMOLED as the fingerprint scanner can be seen located on the side frame.
Leaked images also show the presence of a punch hole located at the top right corner of the screen.
The price of iQOO Z1 is yet not known, though the pre-registrations are already opened at some Chinese retailers, and what is known to us at this span of time is that it will be a budget-friendly gaming smartphone.
The device is set to be launched next Tuesday and is likely when we get to know more about its international availability.
