HIGHLIGHT-
Chinese smartphone producer Vivo has launched its new phone, Vivo Y77e 5G, in the domestic market. Vivo Y77e is a budget smartphone with a MediaTek chipset and dual camera setup. The starting price of the phone is CNY 1,699; however, there is no information about its launch in other countries.
Vivo Y77e 5G Specifications
Performance- This handset has an octa-core processor, which features two cores at 2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 and six at 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55. This Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) smartphone features the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor that runs Android 12, Origin OS Ocean. The chipset comes with 6GB of RAM and a Mali-G57 GPU.
Display and Design- The phone features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 1080 X 2408 pixels with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The phone measures 164 X 75.8 X 8.3 mm in dimensions and weighs 194 g. The handset builds with a glass front, plastic frame and plastic back and is available in three colour options- Black, Blue Gradient and Pink.
Camera- As far as the cameras are concerned, there is a dual-camera setup in its back. One of the two modules is a 13 MP primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture and then joins a 2 MP macro with f/2.4. The rear camera features LED flash, panorama, and HDR.
It sports a single 8 MP f/2.0 wide front camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery- The Vivo Y77e packs a non-removable battery of 5000 mAh. It supports fast charging of 18W and has a USB Type-C 2.0 port and USB On-The-Go.
Memory- The smartphone is available in a single storage option of 128GB 6GB RAM. There is an extra microSDXC slot to boost the memory up to 1TB.
Sensors- The phone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the other sensors include an accelerometer, compass, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
