The Poco C40 will be the company's next low-cost phone. Poco announced on Twitter that the C40 smartphone would be released on June 16 at a global event. The C40 will be part of Poco's C-series of entry-level smartphones and will arrive after a six-month wait since the last C-series phone was released.
Thus, we now have the long-awaited debut date of POCO's next entry-level gadget — the POCO C40 – 6 months after 2022!
The POCO C40 is available in 4GB + 64GB configurations and costs 3,490,000 Vietnamese dong (approx. 11,700). The smartphone will be available for purchase in Vietnam beginning June 17. On June 16, the device will be available in other nations. However, the firm is yet to reveal the handset's availability in India.
The POCO C40 has a 6.71-inch LCD display with an HD+ (720 1650 pixel) resolution, a refresh rate of 60Hz, and a peak brightness of 400 nits. The front selfie shooter is housed behind a waterdrop notch on the display surface, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The POCO C40 is powered by an octa-core JLQ JR510 CPU manufactured on an 11nm technology. The system on chip has a Mali G57 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The phone also has a micro-SD card port. It launches Android 11. The C40 is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, which could be paired with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of expandable UFS 2.2 storage
The POCO C40 comes with a dual-rear camera configuration that includes a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has a 5MP front-facing camera.
The company has also teased that the Poco C40 will feature a 6,000mAh battery, which is claimed to be the biggest battery ever on a Poco smartphone
