Xiaomi is preparing to launch a new phone of the Redmi Note series in the global market. The upcoming Redmi Note 8 2021 is the incarnation of the popular handset Redmi Note 8 of 2019. The company has already released some teasers on its social media page, which has confirmed some specifications. However, the launch date of the Redmi Note 8 2021 has not revealed yet. But the support page has gone live on the company's site. 

Redmi Note 8 2021 Specifications

Redmi Note 8 2021 will feature a 6.3-inch full HD+ LCD with a screen resolution of 1080 X 2340 pixels. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 will protect the screen, and the smartphone has a waterdrop notch on display for the selfie camera.

The phone has an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor based on a 12nm fabrication processor. Explain that the previous Redmi Note 9 series used the same processor. The phone has a Mali-G52 GPU for graphics. The listing reveals that the device will get 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of inbuilt storage. The handset will have a microSD card slot to expand the memory and feature Android 11 based MIUI 12.5.

In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 8 2021 will have a Quad-camera setup. The phone will get an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, 2-megapixel macro and 2-megapixel depth sensor with 48-megapixels primary shooter. For selfie and video calling, the phone will have a 13-megapixel front camera.

The Redmi Note 8 2021 will pack a 4000 mAh battery and a 22.5-watt adapter in the box with 18-watt fast charging. A fingerprint sensor will be found on the rear of the handset. Features like a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port will be available on the phone. The connectivity features include 4G, Dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS.
