Redmi, a sub-brand of the handset manufacturer Xiaomi, is also planning to enter the gaming smartphone segment. Recall that a few months ago, Redmi's general manager Lu Weibing teased the company's first gaming smartphone.

But since then, no information about the device had revealed, but now Weibo Tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked some key specifications of the upcoming gaming smartphone.

Redmi gaming smartphone specs(leaked)

In this upcoming gaming smartphone, MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor can be used for speed and multitasking. A small hole can be seen in the front for a selfie camera with a flat OLED screen in the device.

The latest generation Samsung E4 AMOLED display panel used in the Redmi K40 series can also be used in this upcoming smartphone. It has been named The Best Flat Panel in the industry by DisplayMate Technologies and has given it an A+ score.

The upcoming gaming smartphone may come with a 5000 mAh battery capacity, which can come with 65W fast charging support. It means that the device will charge fully in half an hour. It is noteworthy that the device includes physical shoulder buttons for a better gaming experience. Like we have seen in the Black Shark 4 series.

According to the leaked information, the upcoming Redmi phone may retail for about $300 (about Rs 22,000). If so, it would be the most affordable gaming smartphone.
