Realme is about to launch its latest smartphones Realme 8i and Realme 8s 5G, in the Indian market. Recall that last month, Realme India CEO Madhav Seth confirmed that the company would soon launch Realme 8s and Realme 8i in India.
Realme is going to organize a virtual launch event to launch the Realme 8i and Realme 8s 5G smartphones in India, whose live stream will start on September 9 at 12:30 pm. The company has disclosed the smartphone launch through media invites.
Realme 8i Specifications (expected)
Earlier this week, via Twitter, Realme and MediaTek confirmed that the upcoming Realme 8i phone would feature the MediaTek Helio G96 processor, launched in July with 4G LTE support. The Realme 8i mid-range phone will have a 6.59-inch full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, this phone will come with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.
In terms of optics, the phone sports a triple rear camera setup, whose primary camera will be 50 megapixels and the selfie camera will be 16 megapixels. The phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery.
In terms of design, the leaked render shows the phone with a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port and specular grille. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner in the Realme 8i. However, the phone can be 8.6mm thick and 194 grams in weight.

Realme 8s 5G Specifications (expected)
Unlike Realme 8i, the Realme 8s 5G will take power from the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, as confirmed by the company. If we look at the past reports, this phone will come with a 6.5-inch display and a refresh rate of 90Hz. There will be two RAM options of 6GB and 8GB in the phone. It will also have an additional 5GB of virtual RAM.
There will be a triple rear camera setup in the Realme 8s with a primary camera of 64 megapixels for photography. At the same time, a 16-megapixel camera can be given in the phone for selfies and video calling. Apart from this, the phone will come with 128 GB and 256 GB of storage and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W Dart fast charging support.
