Realme has announced that it is going to launch the next generation of its popular Realme 6 smartphones on September 3, and India will be the first one on the list to get them. These smartphones will replace the ongoing Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro models, former being quite popular in India being the cheapest 90Hz display smartphone with powerful G90T SoC.
Realme will announce Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro in India through an online event. The live event will be available to be stream over Realme's official YouTube channel as well as on their official Facebook and Twitter accounts starting at 12.30 PM IST (7 AM UTC).
There is nothing much known about the specifications of these devices yet. though the company is advertising the campaign with the tag line- Capture Sharper Charge Faster, and we do know that the Realme 7 series will pack an upgraded 64MP primary camera and a 65W SuperDart charging support out of the box.
Realme has also added that the Realme 7 lineup will feature a punch-hole display and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Though it's unlikely that vanilla Realme 7 will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner considering the price tag, again, we are talking about Realme here, so fingers crossed.
Other specifications of the upcoming Realme 7 series smartphone includes a high refresh rate display, quad-camera setup, and at least 4000mAh of battery. There is no information about the chipset yet, but I would like to see Helio G90T replaced with either Dimensity 820 or Snapdragon 720G Chipset for the sake of better power efficiency and thermal throttling.
Anyways, the launch is just a week ahead, and we will see more information leaked as we are heading towards the launch date.
