Realme 6i launched, Cheapest 90Hz smartphone with powerful G90T Chipset

Realme's intricate naming sense seems to be getting even more knotty with each passing day. Last month, Realme launched its Realme 6i in India as Narzo 10A, and today, Realme has launched Realme 6s in India as Realme 6i.

Realme 6i, the rebranded international Realme 6s comes with the same set of features as seen earlier on Realme 6. The only noticeable downgrade to be seen is the camera. Realme 6i of India, international Realme 6s comes with a 48MP primary camera, Realme 6 has got a 64MP lens. Another trade-off is the quick-charger, Realme 6i comes with a 20W fast charger instead of a 30W fast charger that comes bundled with Realme 6.

Realme 6i Specifications

Realme 6 comes powered by a Mediatek Helio G90T Chipset paired with at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage in its base variant. The top of the line variant comes with 6GB of RAM, but you only get the same amount of internal storage.

Upfront lies the biggest highlight of the device itself, a Full HD+ 90Hz Display featuring a punch hole located at the top left corner of the screen sporting a 16MP selfie shooter. Realme 6i comes with a 4300mAh battery unit that draws its power through a 20W fast charger provided in the box.

Around the back, there is a quad-camera setup to be seen escalating a 48 MP f/1.8 primary camera, an 8 MP f/2.3 ultrawide camera, a 2 MP f/2.4 macro camera, and a 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor. For authentication, a traditional side-mounted fingerprint sensor is present.

The biggest highlight of Realme 6i is the two most important things a buyer considers before buying any smartphone, display, and performance.

Realme 6i Mediatek Helio G90T is the class-leading chipset to be found in any smartphone under 23000 INR in India. It is the only processor sub 20K capable of playing PUBG at the 60fps frame rate. And Paired with a 90Hz super-smooth display panel and a decent battery, Realme 6i appears to be a solid package.

Realme 6i Price in India

Realme 6i price in India starts at INR 12,999, for the base variant, making it the cheapest smartphone with 90Hz display and Helio G90T. The top-line variant that comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage will cost INR 14,999.

Both these models will go on sale in India through India's largest online retailer Flipkart, starting July 31.
