POCO has launched its new budget smartphone in India. The company has unveiled this phone in the C series with the name POCO C50. The launch of POCO C50 has increased the trouble of JioPhone Next because the price of POCO C50 is Rs 6499, the same as JioPhone Next. But in terms of features and specifications, POCO C50 is much better than JioPhone Next.
POCO C50 Price and Availability
POCO C50 comes in two RAM options- 2GB and 3GB. It has 32GB of internal storage. The price of the base variant is set at Rs 6,499; however, its top variant comes at Rs 7,299.
The sale will start on 10 January and will be available on Flipkart. The company is offering a one-year warranty on POCO C50 with six months warranty on in-box accessories.
POCO C50 Specifications
Performance- This dual-SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) smartphone features the octa-core MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22 (12 nm) processor that runs on Android 12 (Go Edition). The chipset features 2/3GB of RAM and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
Display- The phone features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD waterdrop-style notch display with a screen resolution of 720 X 1600 pixels with a refresh rate of 120Hz touch sampling rate.
Design- The phone measures 164.9 X 76.8 X 9.1 mm and weighs 192 g. The phone is available in two colour options- Country Green and Royal Blue.
Rear Camera- The camera department has a dual-camera setup. One of the two modules is an 8 MP primary camera, then joins a 0.08 MP depth sensor. The rear camera features dual LED flash and HDR.
Front Camera- It sports a 5 MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery- POCO C50 packs a non-removable battery of 5000 mAh. It supports wired charging of 10W.
Memory- The internal storage of the phone is 32GB which is expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card via a dedicated slot.
Sensors- The phone is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and an accelerometer for authentication.
Connectivity- The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n/ax/ac, Bluetooth v5,FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, FM radio, a 3.5mm audio jack and a micro-USB 2.0 port.
