The launch of OnePlus Nord is around the corner, and we have started getting a lot of tips in pieces at this point. The latest addition to this jigsaw is the newly released OnePlus trailer, which on keen observation, gives us a quick look at the design of the upcoming device from the OnePlus factory.
The first biggest catch in the trailer is the front of this device, On pausing the video at around 0.58 seconds, you can have a glimpse of OnePlus Nord front panel with a dual punch hole located at the top left side of the screen.
From the same paused pose of the smartphone, we can see OnePlus's trademark alert slider found on the right side of the frame, followed by a power on/off button. The rest of the right side of the frame looks plain, but this isn't surprising since OnePlus is going to have an in-display fingerprint scanner, which again confirms the presence of an AMOLED display.
At about 1 minute 1 second, the video featuring the front panel does quick transition revealing the back panel of the OnePlus Nord in its full glory. The cameras will come arranged in a vertical bar at the top left side of the rear panel, but whether it will be a quad-camera setup or a tri-camera is still to be revealed. But I' ll bet on a quad-camera structure, since the circumference of the first lens is noticeable in the video and to fill the vertical camera housing, it will require four of them. What's your guess? Comment down below.
Other than the above recently confirmed listings, the OnePlus is already known to debut with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G Chipset paired with at least 6GB of RAM in the base variant. Other established feature is the presence of an in-display fingerprint scanner and an AMOLED Display.
It's official. For those who are expecting a single device, I'd like to inform you that OnePlus Nord is a series and not a particular smartphone, which means that there are chances of more than one smartphone coming this fall. So, it remains to be seen how many smartphones will be launched by OnePlus. The only thing sure at this point is that the Nord series will compete in the mid-range segment.
