Oneplus is all set to announce its 2020 range of Oneplus 8 devices next month. For those who don't know, there will be three Oneplus smartphones this year. The Oneplus 8 Pro and Oneplus 8 are already confirmed, while the third one is still under the shadow.

The latest tip from Ishan Aggarwal on tweeter has suggested that the third device will launch as Oneplus Z instead of Oneplus lite.

Another source Max Weinbach has posted a piece of similar information stating - " The source referred to it as "OnePlus z" and said the hardware matched the previous Oneplus 8 Lite render ".

So it's pretty much confirmed at this point that OnePlus Z is coming along with OnePlus 8 models, and not a lite model.

OnePlus Z Specifications

The OnePlus Z will debut with a Mediatek chipset and not a flagship 865 SoC. It means that OnePlus Z will not be an affordable flagship killer but a mid-ranger competing against mid-range smartphones, which makes a complete sense since OnePlus 8 has its territory to rule.

Launch Date

There is still no information on when OnePlus Z may launch. The only thing known at this point is that the launch has been delayed due to the Coronavirus epidemic, and the launch will be followed within two months of the launch of the OnePlus 8 series.

Pricing

There is no word on pricing yet, but you can expect OnePlus Z to carry a price tag of $300-$400 (INR 21000-INR28000).
