OnePlus Trend

OnePlus has always been increasing its price year by year. From INR18000 of OnePlus 1 to INR60000 asking price of 6 Months old OnePlus 7T Pro, it been a long journey, and I appreciate it.

But now, with the information about what possibly could be the price of the upcoming OnePlus 8 series, I have started losing my faith in this company, and why won't I? The company which established itself as the flagship killer has now itself become a flagship with the prices hiking so rapidly and aggressively that it might even leave the Apple behind in just a few years.

Pricing

The latest leak has revealed that the OnePlus 8 price will start at 729 Euro, which translates to 790$ or INR60,000 for 8GB and 128GB variant, while 12GB/256GB variant will cost you around 835 Euro ( Approx 70,000INR ).

The price of OnePlus 8 Pro will start at 930 Euro, which translates to $1008 ( INR 77,000 ) for 8GB/128GB variant while upgrading to 12GB/256GB variant will cost you $100 more ( INR7,000 ).

If this information is real, we are soon going to see the costliest OnePlus smartphones ever, which will give head-on competition to Samsung's S20 flagship. But it's still to be seen, how well OnePlus will justify its pricing against excellent service and after-sales support of tech giants like Samsung and Apple in India. Anyways the OnePlus launch event is scheduled for April 14, which isn't too far ahead - stay tuned.
