Oneplus devices always felt a tad behind other premium flagships in the camera department, but the things appear to be changing in 2020 with the upcoming Oneplus 8 Pro. The latest leak from twitter via Ishan Aggarwal tipped us with what we can expect from the upcoming Oneplus flagship.
The Oneplus 8 Pro quad-camera setup will feature a 48MP (F/1.78) flagship-grade Sony IMX689 sensor as the primary module. Another 48MP (F/2.2) Camera with Sony IMX586 will be there for Ultra-Wide shots supporting a 120° Field Of Vision.
The rest two camera modules will be an 8MP (F/2.44) Telephoto supporting 3X Optical & 30X Digital Zoom, and a 5MP Color Filter.
The upcoming Oneplus flagships will also come with an updated camera software featuring New Night Portrait Mode, '3-HDR' Video, Cinematic Effects, and a Better OIS!
The Oneplus 8 Pro is already known to be coming with the latest Snapdragon 865 Soc, a 6.55-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch hole featuring a 16MP selfie camera.
The device will pack a 4300mAh battery under its hood and will come with a whopping 30W fast charger out of the box.
Until now, leaks have also revealed an IP68 rating and wireless charging to be the part of the Oneplus 8 Pro model only.
You can expect the Oneplus 8 series to go live anywhere within next month in April. While there is no word on pricing yet, The pro model will most likely be carrying a price tag of INR60,000 ($760-$800) as Oneplus is already known to increase its prices with each passing year by 50$-90$ across its range of smartphones.
