If you spend a load of time on Android or iPhone, your phone slow charging can be tiring and frustrating. However, over the years, smartphone makers have significantly improved the charging speed. These days many phone chargers are using charging technology up to 40W, 65W and even 120W. However, most budget phones still offer mediocre charging speeds, and the battery takes a long time to get fully charged. There are some ways with the help of which you can load the battery faster and keep your phone battery more stable.

Switch-off the Phone-

If you want to charge the phone faster, do charging by turning it off because it actively consumes power when it is on, slowing down the charging speed. If you switch it off, it consumes less power. Hence the battery charges faster than usual.

Enable the Power Saving Mode-

Most phones come with built-in low power or power-saving mode. If your phone has any of these features, then consider enabling it while the phone is charging. Power-saving mode restricts background processes and connectivity features that reduce consumption and increase charging speed. You can also turn off features like Bluetooth, GPS Location, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, Mobile Data, and NFC to speed up the charging. Also, do not use the phone while charging. It heats the device and slows down charging.

Shut Down the Optimized Charging-

Does your phone have any features like Optimize Charging or Smart/Intelligent Charging? Optimize Charging focuses on preserving battery health by intelligently controlling and scheduling charging based on your usage. So you must have seen why Android or iPhone takes too long to charge after a certain level or at a fixed time? Although it is better for the battery, it has to be disabled when the phone has to charge quickly.

Avoid Wireless Charging-

Wireless charging is relatively slow compared to wired charging unless your phone and charger support 30W, 40W or 50W wireless charging speeds. Also, they are less efficient. So it is always better to use a wired charger over slow wireless charging.
