Asus ROG Phone 3 with Snapdragon 865 Plus launch set to July 22

Earlier this month, Asus announced the global launch date of its gaming-oriented smartphone Asus Rog Phone 3 and today, we have come to know that Asus Rog Phone 3 will debut in India on the same day - July 22. The launch will be an online event to be streamed live on Asus India's official YouTube channel starting at 8:15 PM IST Indian standard Time( 2:45 PM UTC for the USA). Asus Rog Phone 3 in India will be sold exclusively over Flipkart.

Asus Rog Phone 3 Features

There isn't any official information about the specs of Asus Rog Phone 3 smartphone known yet, other than its Snapdragon 865+ Chipset. But according to the TENAA listenings, we know that Asus Rog Phone 3 will come with a 12GB of RAM and 256Gb of UFS 3.0 internal storage.

Upfront, Asus Rog Phone will feature a 6.59 inches Full HD+ AMOLED Display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display will be HDR+ compliant and will be built on a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. For Authentication, ROG Phone 3 will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and around the back, there will be a tri-camera setup followed by a large ROG logo. Asus ROG Phone 3 will pack a massive 5800mAh battery unit inside the hood packed that will draw its power through QuickCharge 4.0.

While there are no official words to be certain, Asus ROG Phone is likely to carry a price tag close to INR 43,999, which roughly translates to $600. My bet on the global price will be $650 since Chinese smartphones OEM usually price their smartphones in India tad more aggressively.
